Busch Mountain Fishing Guide Service was founded by Austin Kennedy, a retired public safety professional who dedicated nearly three decades of his life to serving others as a law enforcement officer, firefighter, emergency medical responder, supervisor, and leader.

Austin entered emergency services at just 17 years old and spent approximately 28 years protecting and serving his community. Throughout his career, he earned numerous honors, including Life Saving Awards, Distinguished Service Awards, Medic of the Year, Firefighter of the Year, and recognition for outstanding public service.

The same commitment to professionalism, preparation, safety, and customer care that defined his public service career now serves as the foundation of Busch Mountain Fishing Guide Service.

Today, Austin brings that dedication to every client who steps into one of our boats.
