These Subscription Terms apply to paid subscription features offered through Busch Mountain Fishing Intelligence (“BMFI”), operated by Busch Mountain Fishing Guide Service LLC.
Free Access
Busch Mountain Intelligence is free to download and use. Adaptive Plan, Fishing Session Mode, Personal Fishing Memory, Personal Pattern Detection, Premium Fishing Dates, CRANK and STRIPER Trolling Intelligence, Saved Rigs, maps, conditions, alerts and planning are free for every app user. Guided trips are booked separately through our existing booking service.
Existing Pro Subscriptions
Pro Monthly and Annual Pro are no longer offered to new customers. Existing transaction and entitlement records remain available for history and restores. Pro features are now free. Removing Pro from sale does not stop existing automatic renewals. Existing subscribers should use the applicable store to stop future charges; already-paid periods remain recorded through their end.
Free fishing tools do not expire and do not require a Pro trial or subscription.
Guide Direct has no trial unless one is specifically displayed by the store before purchase.
Legacy Annual Pro
Annual Pro is not currently offered as a new store subscription. Existing legitimate Legacy Annual Pro subscriptions and historical entitlements remain subject to their applicable purchase terms and entitlement status.
Former Pro features are free regardless of historical subscription status. This change preserves legitimate transaction and entitlement records.
Guide Direct Monthly
Guide Direct is the only paid subscription, at $1.99 USD per month in the United States. No other subscription is required. Final checkout prices may vary by region and applicable tax; the store displays the actual price before purchase.
Guide Direct allows 3 questions per day, up to 3 photos per question, and a 160-character question limit. Daily limits reset at midnight America/Chicago, including daylight-saving time changes. Membership capacity is limited. Responses are provided during normal business hours. Guide Direct is not an emergency or real-time safety service.
Guide Direct does not include a free trial unless a trial is specifically displayed by the applicable app store at the time of purchase.
Guide Direct requires its own current entitlement. Fishing tools are free for everyone and do not require Guide Direct. Guide Direct messaging ends when its entitlement expires.
Billing and Automatic Renewal
Paid subscriptions may be purchased and billed through the applicable app store: Google Play for Android or the Apple App Store for iOS, where available. Store and product availability may vary.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled according to the applicable store’s procedures before renewal. The applicable app store displays the price, billing period, trial or promotional offer, taxes, and other purchase details before the purchase is completed.
Deleting your BMFI account or uninstalling BMFI does not cancel an active Google Play or Apple App Store subscription, including Pro and Guide Direct. Recurring billing continues until the subscription is canceled through the applicable store. If you no longer want recurring billing, cancel each active subscription through that store before deleting your BMFI account.
Managing or Canceling a Subscription
Android subscriptions are managed or canceled through your Google Play account using Google Play subscriptions. iOS subscriptions are managed or canceled through your Apple Account using Apple subscriptions, or on your iPhone or iPad under Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Cancellation stops future automatic renewal. Unless the applicable app store or applicable law provides otherwise, access normally remains available through the end of the already-paid billing period.
Use the Manage Subscription option available through BMFI or the applicable app-store account to review or cancel an active subscription. Make sure you use the store account associated with the purchase.
Restoring Purchases
BMFI provides a Restore Purchases function for users who reinstall the app or otherwise need to restore an eligible Google Play or Apple App Store purchase to their BMFI account.
Subscriptions are associated with the applicable BMFI account and app-store purchase. When restoring purchases, use the applicable BMFI account and the store account used for the original purchase.
Refunds
Subscription purchases are processed through the applicable app store. Refund requests for Google Play purchases follow Google Play’s refund process and policies; requests for Apple App Store purchases follow Apple’s refund process and policies. Refund availability is subject to the applicable store’s policies and applicable law. BMFI does not guarantee a refund or limit your rights under applicable law.
Price Changes
Busch Mountain Fishing Guide Service LLC may change subscription prices for future billing periods for legitimate reasons, including changes in service features, operating costs, third-party platform charges, taxes, or market conditions.
Any subscription price change will be handled in accordance with the applicable app store’s requirements, including advance notice or user consent when required.
Service Availability
Guide Direct provides continuing personal messaging access while its entitlement remains active. All fishing intelligence tools remain free when a subscription expires.
Fishing intelligence, forecasts, Guide Direct responses, fishing conditions, and recommendations are informational services. Fishing conditions change constantly, and BMFI does not guarantee fishing success, fish location, weather conditions, water conditions, navigation safety, or a particular fishing result.
Temporary outages, maintenance, connectivity issues, third-party service interruptions, or other technical conditions may occasionally affect availability.
Changes to Subscription Features
BMFI may improve, replace, modify, or discontinue individual features as the service evolves, provided that paid subscriptions continue to provide meaningful recurring value consistent with the subscription offered.
iOS End User License Agreement
Use of the iOS application may also be subject to Apple’s applicable Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These Subscription Terms do not replace or limit that agreement where it applies.
