June Beaver Lake Striper Report

Current Level: 1124.10 feet | Water Temp: 73.3°F – 80.6°F The Beaver Lake striper bite is on! Fish are scattered all over the lake right now—from the south end all the way to the north. You can find them holding on flats, channel swings, coves, bluffs, points, and submerged tree tops. How to Find & Catch ‘Em: There are several schools of fish scattered across different areas of the lake feeding heavily on threadfin shad. Keep your eyes peeled for surface action, or use your electronics to graph them down deep. Best Baits: Live shad, bream, and minnows are working wonders. If you prefer artificials, throw or troll anything that mimics a threadfin shad to put fish in the boat. Technique: Trolling is highly effective right now—mix it up between slow, medium, and fast speeds until you find what triggers the strike. Bonus: These stripers are feeding all day long! Pick a time that works best for your schedule, head out to the water, and wet a line. Tight lines, everyone!
